Fisherman’s Wharf has several exciting adventures in addition to fishing. Take a look at the many different opportunities we offer!

Port Aransas fishing trips

Inshore or offshore, we have you covered. The Wharf Cat and Scat Cat are the largest and most stable party boats in the area doing deep sea fishing of all kinds. We also can set up a private charter offshore for those who want a more specific trip or to chase Blue Marlin, White Marlin, and Sailfish. For the bay, jetties, and surf we have a stable of private guides that will help you with the trip of a lifetime for Redfish, Trout, and all the other fish we are blessed to have here in Port A.

Sunset cruise in Port Aransas

A perfect way to wind down after a long day is on our leisurely sunset cruise. Our captain and crew will do their best to make sure you get the best view in the area of the sun bidding us farewell for another day. We do our best to make sure you get to appreciate the natural beauty and experience the best our area has to offer.

Port Aransas Jetty Boat

The Jetty Boat runs every day from Fisherman’s Wharf in Port Aransas to a private dock at the base of the North Jetty on San Jose Island. The Jetty Boat is the only way to access the North Jetty and the deserted beaches of San Jose Island for fishing, birding, beachcombing along the empty beaches, and getting back to nature at its finest.

Port Aransas private parties

Host a private sight-seeing tour, fishing trip, or party on one of the largest and best riding Party Boat in Port A. We offer bookings for groups of any size. This is ideal for business groups, family reunions, wedding parties, birthday parties or a large group of friends.

For availability, pricing, and group discounts, please call the Fisherman’s Wharf.

School trips to Port Aransas

We also encourage booking for School and Research Trips. Spreading the knowledge of the local marine environment is important to us at Fisherman’s Wharf and we enjoy offering trips for these purposes.

Please call for booking information.

Whooping Crane tours

Don’t miss out on the opportunity see the endangered Whooping Cranes. We offer the chance to witness these birds in their natural habitat! These are Winter and Spring time trips to the Aransas National Wildlife Refuge. The lowest impact way to see these birds is from the water looking onto the Refuge, and there is no better way to see them than in the comfort of the Wharf Cat and Scat Cat.

Dolphin tours in Port Aransas

An adventure for the whole family, we offer the newest dolphin watching experience in Port Aransas. We will head out of the harbor in the calm and protected inland channels and find the local pods of dolphins. You will be able to see them feeding and frolicking in their natural habitat, take close up photos, learn some local history and lore, and see beautiful views of Port Aransas and San Jose Island that those poor landlocked souls cannot.

Having fished off of the jetties and the beach on past trips, this year we decided to go to Fisherman’s Wharf to book a private trip. We had a BLAST! We were able to get the attention that I wanted for my wife and kids and they can’t wait to come back next year. Best money spent on a whole week in Port Aransas.

We had a wonderful day fishing last weekend. We arrived a little late in the morning after a late night out, our guide greeted my buddy Chris and I at the dock and whisked us out of the harbor and right onto a bunch of drum and redfish. We caught fish till we limited out on both reds and drum, and he kept us laughing the whole time. Can’t wait to come back next year and do it again.

I wanted to book a surprise trip for my husband for our anniversary but had no idea what to do. I called Fisherman’s Wharf and Tray listened to what I thought my husband might want, then set us up our trip. Tray’s suggestion could not have been more right. He got our fishing trip booked and it was great. It was very calm that morning and we went and fished for speckled trout in the surf. We caught so many fish my arms hurt and my husband had a huge smile for the rest of the weekend. It was perfect. Thanks so much!

I took my two boys fishing for the weekend to target redfish and could not have had a better time! My boys are just getting into fishing and now they are hooked! We didn’t bring our own equipment, but the guide had first class rods/reels and tackle on the boat and was a very good teacher for my sons. They are begging us to go back to Port A and fish again as it made their summer.
