Yellowfin Tuna Port Aransas Fishing
Captain Gary, Captain Ronnie, Captain Fred, and Captain Jake caught a monster-sized fish—a 147lb Yellowfish Tuna—while Yellowfin Tuna fishing in Port Aransas. These captains set sail off the shores of Port Aransas. They lived on the waters for an entire fifty-six-hour trip, spending the vast majority of their time fishing. Yellowfish Tuna normally will come to the surface at night. Baitfish create a shimmering glow in the water. Yellowfish Tuna, therefore, are drawn in by the light. Soon, the Yellowfish Tuna take the bait. You can find these fish around waters with waves ranging from three feet to four feet in height—with a slight chop. When you’re on the open sea with us, you too may have Yellowfish Tuna crowding you!
Their prize, however, was clearly the 147lb Yellowfish Tuna. Though this was the largest fish, it wasn’t the only one; there are plenty more fish in the deep sea! In the photo, you can see the very fish caught on this trip. Captain Jake is holding this fish, standing proud with his arms clutched around its fins. He is holding it by the fins, positioned proudly at his exciting catch.
Fifty-six hours on the sea may seem like a long time, but think of what can be accomplished! From catching a fish with the weight of the average person, having an experience with nature, being with a friendly crew on the waters. The number of things that can be done is practically endless!
